Gospel Music Week in Canada is a highlight of mine. As an artist and person in ministry, it's essential to continue learning and building relationships with fellow colleagues. I personally find the week of sessions uplifting and encouraging. It's also great to be able to spend time with hundreds of other folks who are all doing the same thing--and that foundation is Christ.
This year, we've decided to take a full week and do some ministry while we are in Calgary, Alberta. We want to celebrate the work that God has allowed us to be part of, and we want to serve while we do it. However, it is very costly. We are trusting in God to provide for us to make this all happen.
So this is what my wife Katie and I need in order to go from October 22 to October 29, 2011:
- 2 airplane tickets from London, Ontario to Calgary, Alberta - $1200 (approx.)
- 7 hotel stays (in various locations) - $945 (approx.)
- 1 rental car from the Calgary Airport - $150 (approx.)
- Fuel for driving between venues - $200 (approx.)
- Various other expenses
Total : $2495+
